Going into Day 2 i’m generally feeling quite relaxed. There are a bunch of good talents and I’m sure some of them will drop to where I am picking. I have the following picks in Day 2:
Round 2 48 52 57
Round 3 79
Potential Candidates
In no particular order, these are the prospects I am interested in:
QB Matt Corral
WR Skyy Moore, George Pickens, Alec Pierce
OT Bernhard Raiman
TE Trey McBride
DT Travis Jones, Logan Hall
LB Nakobe Dean, Brian Asamoah, Troy Andersen, Chad Muma
Strategy
Mainly I want to add to my trenches with the two big additions being Raimann and Jones although getting both might not be realistic. After that it is best available for me, ideally Corral and a WR fall to me, but if there is noone there for me I would be just as happy adding a LB.
Moving up
I really don’t want to miss out on Raimann, so contrary to the first round I am going to move up. I really want to jump up as high as possible, and a team who loves collecting picks are the Vikings at 34. From my closest pick (48) that’s a 14 position jump, so I am going to have to give up a lot, which I really don’t like to do, but I believe it will be worth it.
My 2.48, 4.123, 6.195, 7.237 for the Vikings 2.34
I really hope that’s enough, because I think that the Bucs also want to add to their OL. They should be looking at guard though. I’m making this trade before the start of Day 2.
