Signings

QB Gardner Minshew

I’ve liked the guy since before he was drafted and he has stuck around in the league. coming in he gives me a reliable starter or backup.

LS Jacob Bodenmoyer

After Tyler Ott is getting on and currently a Free Agent I sign 25 year old Bodenmoyer who stood out last year by making 4 tackles on special teams, joint for the second most in the league.

RB Rashaad Penny

I have big concerns about the amount of injuries Penny has had since getting into the league, however, I have 2 other good runningbacks in Moss and Gibson who I am hoping will improve this year too. That will mitigate the risk of singing Penny.

TE Mike Gesiki

I continue to add weapons to my team I add Gesiki who I believe is only at a point where he is really coming into his own. He plays like a massive WR and is a Red Zone threat.

LB Bobby Wagner

LB Devin Bush

Being able to bring back the legend for one more year has to be done, so Bobby is back. Bush was a player I liked going into the draft back when he was coming into the league, picking him up on a cheap contract to see if he works out seems like good value. One other name who I was playing with was Bobby Okereke who I also rated highly and I believe he has great measurements and plays well, but when weighing up his contract with my LB room there wasn’t a fit for him.

Trade away

Allen Robinson and 3.80 to the Browns for Pick 2.42

I hijack the Elijah Moore trade eating a lot of salary in the process, but the Browns get a more established WR for Watson than Moore is and I free up that roster spot.

CJ Henderson to Cardinals for Pick 6.180

The Cardinals have holes all over their roster. They bring in a starting level corner for relatively cheap.

Troy Dye to 49ers for Pick 7.255

The 49ers are looking for a LB3 after loosing Azeez Al-Shaair, they are bound to address the position in the draft, but Dye gives them insurance and a solid backup.

Adam Trautman to Packers for Pick 7.235

The Packers add safety players to make the first year under Jordan Love easier on the young QB.

Ceasar Ruiz to the Raiders for 3.70

The Raiders signed Garoppolo, but have problems on the interior of their OLine. They trade for Ruiz who can play all 3 inside positions and give them an upgrade and protect their investment as well as helping them run the ball hard.
