It is that time of the year again. The draft season is well underway and I have already spent time trying to assess the talent that is out there. Soon there will also be something for you to read.
As I did last year, I will try to delve into the Seahawks squad as it has already been put together to establish the areas of need, as well as looking at the draft class and what players I like from it, before I bring it all together with an article on who I would draft.
This year I will try to go into more detail on each position group as well as adding a new article on who I would have picked last year and the year before – a series that I will continue over the next years to see how well the payers end up doing. So without further ado, here is a quick preview of what you can expect over the next weeks and months:
- pre-draft analysis (offence, defence, special teams)
- big moves and trades that the Seahawks could make prior to the draft
- individual articles on each position group in the draft (with a focus on players that could end up at the Seahawks, rather than those at the top of the board)
- followup on who the Seahawks would have if they had taken my picks 2017 and 2018
Following the draft I will then be looking at evaluating the draft and following the team as the cuts are made.
