I have just woken up and am quickly going to watch the first round including my comments.

The idea is that i will be making decisions and writing while I watch to make it as realistic as possible.

Here we go:

1.1 Carolina picks QB Bryce Young

Little surprise here. I really like the guy and believe he will be a true leader putting Carolina on his back and potentially leading them to the playoffs.

1.2 Houston picks QB C.J. Stroud

There was so much smoke around this pick. in the end they take their QB of the future who was mocked here for a long time.

1.3 TRADE Arizona > Houston picks EDGE Will Anderson

Arizona get 1.12 and a second rounder today as well as a first and third rounder 2024.

Houston gets the leader on Defense to go with the leader on offense. Great move getting the best defensive player.

1.4 Colts pick QB Anthony Richardson

This guy is an athletic freak and leader who could be a massive weapon and he moves to a great place with a good OLine and great backfield. Love this spot for him.

1.5 Seattle pick CB Devon Witherspoon

Mind BLOWN!!! I would have never thought that the Seahawks would pick a CB in the first. But i love it. The Seahawks will now have a lockdown duo and are rebuilding their legion of boom.

1.6 TRADE Detroit > Arizona OT Paris Johnson Jr

Detroit get 1.12 and a second rounder for 1.6.

I loved Paris Johnson at the Combine, but I am so surprised that they moved up to 6 to get this guys. TBF if he is their guy they made a significant addition in terms of draft capital and got their guy.

1.7 Raiders pick EDGE Tyree Wilson

Great combo with Max Crosby there.

1.8 Falcons pick RB Bijan Robinson

The Falcons continue adding offensive weapons for the third year in a row. If Ridder takes a step this year they have a great combo with the TE and WR they picked over the last couple of years.

1.9 TRADE Chicago > Eagles pick DT Jalen Carter

Chicago get 1.8 and for 1.9

The Eagles keep improving. Carter goes back into a team with his college running mates Jordan Davis and Nakobe Dean.

1.10 Chicago pick OT Darnell Wright

The Bears add some help for their franchise QB.

1.11 Titans pick OL Peter Skoronski

Absolute mauler who could end up moving inside. Great addition for what they do running the ball.

1.12 Lions pick RB Jahmyr Gibbs

I did not move down but picked will levis believeing in the gut feeling he gave me about being a potential QB1.

for Day 2 my main targets are darnell washington, drew sanders/trenton simpson and possible cody mauch, a DT or a WR.
